Backpacking over hills between Tarf and Tilt. Walked up Glen Tilt from Blair Atholl, then track and finally rough ground to Dun Beag. Continued directly to Dun Mor, then across to An Sligearnach and Braigh Coire na Conlaich. Continued to Meall Tionail, Conlach Mhor and Creag a' Chrochaidh. Then a steady climb to Carn a' Chlamain. Big day out! Parked at Glen Tilt car park and enjoyed a lovely walk up by the river. Headed up towards Carn a'Chlarmain with a little detour to Creag Loisgte, on to the Munro and its north top, keeping going onto Aonach na Cloiche Moire, Braigh nan Creagan Breac and Braigh Clais Daimh before continuing down to the floor of the glen and home. I'd imagine that navigation would be tricky with three non descript tops, but with clear skies, the views were incredible. 6hrs 40 31kmNicky C01/03/2021
Highest area on this ridge; shame about the proximity to its parent!richtea504015/07/2018

MMC Walk. Alex, Fraser Gold, Ron Dorn, Ian McArthur and Eunice walked from Old Glen Tilt Carpark to Forest Lodge then up good stalker path to Carn 'a Chlamain. Rest went down the ridge. I carried onto Beinn Mheadhonach and descended from there. Occasional snow and high wind, occasional calm and sun. A great day. 7 1/2 hoursalexmaclennan28/04/2013

Solo. Parked at the start of the track up Glen Tilt near the Old Bridge of Tilt. A warning notice warned of long range rifle firing on the firing range. Walked up the main track up Glen Tilt, starting opposite the car park. Followed the track past Auchgobhal and Marble Lodge to Clachghlas. Then up the hillside on the track (shown as a path on my map), which goes WSW. The track goes round a shoulder and above Allt Craoinidh. Here I crossed the river and went up hillside to the minor top above Sròn a' Chrò. Hitherto the weather had been fine, if a little cold. But now there were hail showers and later snow showers, quite severe, and it was quite windy too. Some lying snow patches. Continued over the top of Bràigh Clais Daimh and Bràigh nan Creagan Breac to Aonach na Cloiche Mòire. Continued a little way NW beyond what I thought was the highest point to where there was a small cairn on top of a boulder. This might have been the highest point, but I doubt it. Continued to Càrn a' Chlamain.pwbellarby08/05/2005

With: solo; From Carn a'Chlamain along good path with lots of shooting butts. Descended down to Feith an Lochain which was deep and difficult to cross. Failure mode was a serious dunking. One chance and I got it right!Ian Baines26/06/1994
from B D. down on a bearing across a steep snow patch visible from B A'Ghlo, across hags to col and across river bed. Rain storm/hail. Around the flank of the hill to drop to 640m. A second river, quite wide. Removed boots and top socks and waded over. Then uphill over moss and hags to top. to C a C.arranc26/05/1986
