From the gate by the copse to the SE, with a step over a fence, and down to the gate to the west. It didn't feel like trespassing. Only the second time I've knowingly met other baggers (Birketts) on a hill.Alan Moore02/12/2023

Bus from Keswick to Embleton walk over Ling Fell, Burthwaite Heights, Sale Fell, and down via 2 more Birketts to catch the bus back to Keswick. Approached Burthwaite Heights from WSW where there were no notices saying no access so I presumed all was OKtrimarc210/10/2021

Aiming for Wythop from Broom Fell. Choice of route to either to stay on the access land through Wythop 'swamp' or leave access land and keep dry feet over this small top for a repeat ascent and nice grassy pasture down through gates to road? No contest.Chris Pearson26/08/2016

Parking available at the start of the access track west of Eskin. Pass through the gate and follow a track to the south of the hill. Climb a gate and head along a tractor track to the summit. Feeling of not being welcomed due to number of no access notices!moorsman07/05/2015
