With Jim, Jus and Cat. Round of Black Crags, Buck Pike, Rossett Pike, Tongue Head, Esk Pike, Bowfell North Top and Bowfell from Old Dungeon Ghyll. The heavy rain of the ascent had cleared by the time we reached this summit, and the view down Mickleden with a rainbow over it was rather stunning. Nice little top too; a little rocky summit and below it a grassy platform with a pool and views that would make an ideal lunch spot on a drier day. Surprised Wainwright didn't pick this as his chosen viewpoint on this ridge!wheresthepath01/10/2023
Short diversion off route between Black Crags and Bowfell. Visited summit cairn and nearby pointy rock (which is higher).PGCE06/09/2023
