With ASW. We climbed Helm Crag (405M), a detour down into the valley to find Greenburn Bottom, then back up to Calf Crag (537m), then continuing to the highest point of the Central Fells, High Raise (762m). Popped up to Easedale Tarnwith Rick and Jen so Jen could do her bird watch thing, Brian came along and Brian, me and Rick went up to the ridge and played about with the tops at Castle How and back to Blea Rigg for fodder. Rick left us for home duties and me and Brian bumbled along to Sergeant Man, Codale Head and down through Tarn Crags. Down to Sour Milk Gill and back to Lankrigg where we had parked. Mist and mizzle all day but did pop out of it on Sergeant Man, wet day out but a great post birthday walk. 3 more Wainwrights and a few Birketts too.Mark T17/01/2017
