Quick jog across from Sheffield Pike for Boo and I via a bog which one of us had to be rescued from. Then carrying on both smelling of something distinctly unpleasant. Then the steep drop.Alphaville19907/07/2023

Glenridding Dodd - heron pike - Sheffield Pike descent down to nick head and Glencoyne valley. -2 and lovely blue sky at the start started to snow near the top of Heron Pike. All the bogs and mud frozen hard which made for a rare dry and pleasant walk across Sheffield Pike. Wonderful rocky path up Heron Pike. With Boris.ytfckent08/12/2022

Glenridding Dodd, Heron Pike & Sheffield Pike - up and back from Glenridding car park via The Rake. High temperatures made the steep climb even harder work, although it was still worth it for the stunning views from all three summits. Think I lost a particularly sweat and snot-stained hanky here, many apologies to any future baggers who happen to get it stuck to them (I did revisit the summit to search on the way back down, but to no avail - felt very bad about having possibly inadvertently littered a hill).wheresthepath25/06/2018
