From High Dodd. Wet underfoot but straightforward, guessed from the profile it was The Knight. Nice mini ridge, admired the view. On to Birk Fell.Wycombe Wanderer27/11/2019
After Low Birk Fell and Birk Fell. Fine rocky promontory, which does have a similar profile to Cnicht in Snowdonia from certain angles.Wheelsy29/10/2019

We had a quick 3km walk to Aria force and back,. As this wasn't enough, we drove over to Patterdale and walked up to Place Fell. The plan was to come down the west face, however, since the weather was terrible and we couldn't see at all, we decided to take the more obvious path off the north face back down to Scalehow wood, and walked along Ulswater back to Patterdale. Since we were soaked, we had a beer in Brother Water Inn and warmed up by the fire before heading home. 4hr: 12km (15km); 840mByronHaywood01/05/2016
