A short day with Dave bagging Birketts. Parked at High Tilberthwaite carpark, walked to Cathedral Quarry cavern and Slaters Bridge then up to Great Intake, High Fell, Hawk Rigg, Haystacks (Tilberthwaite) and Blake Rigg. Constant drizzle, frequent showers; a grey wet day but mild and no wind.Skip01/12/2018
Ascended from Tiberthwaite on a perfect November day. Started the ascent on the quarry track by mistake, but crossed to the main path on a farm track at the second gate. Two gates and a final style needed to be crossed to reach the summit, where there were excellent views. Returned the same way.JohnW26/11/2018
