Adjacent grassy mounds seem higher than cairn. Round of Coniston Fells from Coniston. Path up by Long Crag, levelling out then diversion to Yewdale Crag. Continued on to Brackeny Crag, then NNW to cross Tilberthwaite Gill and climb Blake Rigg, Haystacks, Hawk Rigg, High Fell. Crossed a marshy area to climb Great Intake then return to cross Tilberthwaite Gill and head S to join path. At high point headed off to climb Kitty Crag, Long Crag, High Wythow, Low Wythow and descend SSE to rejoin outward route. Mist and continuous rain for much of route.RobertP05/11/2022

A really delightful circuit from Tilberthwaite of Blake Rigg, Haystacks, Hawk Rigg, both tops of Birk Fell Man, High Fell and both tops of Great Intake. Waterfalls, quarries being reclaimed by nature, mountain larches in dance-like poses and a succession of interesting tops.Nick Down104/05/2022
