| Parked at the top of the pass at Kiln Bank Cross (SD 214 932) to do a round of the Dunnerdale Fells and Caw. Walked anticlockwise visiting Stickle Pike, Tarn Hill, Dunnerdale Fells and Great Stickle first before dropping down to Broughton Mills. Then along the delightful ridge of The Knott, Raven's Crag and Fox Haw. Dropping down again before ascending the main objective of Caw using the track to the quarry on the north side and the zig zag track to the trig perched on its grand summit. Continued on to Pikes and down to Green Pikes. Collected Brock Barrow and Park Head Road Top on the way back. 12 summits in all! 17km with 1200m ascent in 6h30m. (S) | silveracorn_alan | 20/06/2020 |
