From Pitlochry, across the river by the dridge next to the boating station and up road to near the Priest's Stone. Then struck up west initially on a track then pathless. All in cloud and, despite the Trig point, summit difficult to locate in very poor visibility. Then on to Meall a'Choire. With the lochan as a guide the summit was actually easier to locate in the cloud than Meall a Charra summit though I took in two or three options just to be sure. Returned by same route but hit road a good way further north. Not really a route I would recommend, the routes from the north sound better (see below). | dickscroop | 05/11/2015 |
