From Corriechoille, P just below forest gate, fine views of Stob Ban and Sgurr Innse in fresh snow, included the SimmBeag then N to Chlianaig | RHW | 04/05/2021 |
A round of five tops from the small but cosy Lairig Leacach bothy with good company and a warm fire on the second night. North along valley until opposite an easier line up Cruach Innse dropped down east without problem to take in Beinn Clunaig and Cnap Cruinn before heading back towards Sgurr Innse. Had walked almost right round this by now without seeing an easy line so just tackled the SE side by what looked like the easiest line which worked out OK. Then easily up Stob Coire Easain West top and back to the bothy. A very good day. | dickscroop | 22/10/2016 |
Done overnight from Fersit with Davy Bell as part of a relay round of Ramsay's Round. Over the Easains to Lairig Leacach bothy. Didn't need a headtorch. Dropped W to the bothy as dawn broke to find that Greg & Smithy had used all of the teabags... Thanks! Out N via the track & picked up & driven back to the hotel in Fort Bill for some kip. | NotReallyABagger | 09/06/2002 |
