Cycled up from the visitor centre car park. The summit is an excellent Tor with cairn. Then on to Black Craig, and back the same way. | NormanW | 30/09/2023 |
A two family ascent. From the GT visitors centre, the up just S of White Hill. We then descended directly to the half way hut trying to avoid the bogs. By this time the under 11s were toiling! | ragudave | 19/03/2023 |

Walked along the track from Glen Tanar where Mike was fishing, Geocache at Etnach bridge, then onto the summit of Gathering Cairn and a return to Glen Tanar via Clachan Yell. Very Hot, slight breeze on summits which was welcome. Flies up here like bug repellant annoying. | LizzieG | 11/07/2013 |

A fabulous walk through the Caledonian forest of Glen Tanar. All Scottish glens probably once looked like this. A great example for others to follow. | summitter | 01/01/2000 |
