A very pleasant and easy afternoon stroll after the rain, from Braenaloin. Track and bridge to Tullochmacarrick, track continues to Tom a' Chatha, then off piste over a short patch of Ladder Hills bog vegetables to the summit ridge, which is lovely heather and lichen tundra. Gorgeous views in late sun. December daylight hours are short, so back the same way. Easy to extend this walk any way you like!Gill20/12/2020
Quick crossing from The Ca to clear the bogs as twilight merged into dark - unable to jog safely down the easy heather and moss slopes - but fence visible and animal tracks to ease quick progress to the high landrover track right on schedule and easy going on to trig summit of Carn Leac Saighdeir before torch out for the track descent.Chris Pearson16/11/2020
