Took a direct line SE from Carn Leac Saighdear through West Coire Buidhe. Good bit of snow. | 187lenny | 12/12/2021 |
Down to the col from Camock Hill. Some animal and ATV tracks and a peaty area, then up to the summit. Sunshine and pleasant views. Descended S to just E of the Col, then contoured N of Carn a'Bhacain to the col at the NE top, then up and down the other side, and back up to the road. | LizH | 24/11/2021 |
2 of 6: From Carn a Bhacain. With Karen. | ChrisR | 15/11/2021 |
From the small forestry car park a few hundred yards along the track to Ordgarff. Old road to Ree Newe, then shooting track to the N ridge. Up this on a faint but easy ATV track. Nice going for the final climb to the top (moss, short heather) then nice lichen and heather over the top. On to Camock Hill, deer tracks show the way to avoid the hags, then more lovely tundra towards the summit. Down to join the track leading over Carn Mheadhonach, below Carn Mor and to Ordgarff through the forestry. Very windy day, sunny then nasty wet snow made me very cold indeed on the way down. | Gill | 24/03/2021 |
The Ca - an odd name which looks unfinished - although I like the French meaning of It,This or That. I also quite liked weaving a route through the peat-hagged col -there and back (some shelter from the cold wind) in a race against twilight - looking like my plan should work to reach the high track before darkness. | Chris Pearson | 16/11/2020 |
Cock Bridge circular. Ascent via N ridge. | Smudge | 25/12/2019 |
