Parked near Allt Mhalagain for a circuit of 2 outlying Simms: Faochag and Sgurr a' Chuilinn. Went up the NE ridge to Faochaig, then returned to about 700m before heading SE down grassy slopes. Contoured around at about 300m, then up to the NW ridge of Sgurr a' Chuilinn. Returned down the ridge to the start. NB: no fence posts on the summit rock.PGCE27/05/2023
Short hill day from the layby at the foot of Forcan ridge path. Up through a few pines before following ridge to summit. Blasted by wind on top!Matt290101/10/2022

A short day on what was forecast to be, and turned out to be, a very windy day. From bridge in Glen Shiel walked in a short way and then straight up from point where deer fence ends. Some rock outcrops near the top which were easily turned and I avoided them completely on way down. In lee of hill until I got to summit and though the wind not impossible it would have slowed me down so I settled for just the one top rather than the longer trip initially planned which would have involved a lot of time exposed on the ridgedickscroop14/12/2018
With Steve Smith on traverse of the Cluanie ridge going broadly E-W over 2 days. Last hill of the second day.jonglew27/10/2017
Last of three on early morning circuit, boulder seems highest or outcrop near shelter cairn further W; poor visibility, cold drizzly morning; good path S into wood and back to YH where parked.RHW07/05/2017
Hot (36c in sun), slight breeze, finish this then returned unwell, good views.iangalbraith20/07/2013
Solo. With help of friend positioned my car where Allt Mhàlagain is crossed by A87 road in Glen Shiel. Started walking at Cluanie Inn and did the South Cluanie ridge. I walked along the old road to where it crosses Allt Giubhais. I climbed up to Coirean Eich Bhric and to the col NW of Creag a’ Mhàim. Climbed up the ridge to the summit of Creag a’ Mhàim. Then went back down the ridge and along to Druim Shionnach, Aonach air Chrith, Maol Chinn-dearg, Sgùrr Coire na Feinne, Sgùrr an Doire Leathain, Sgùrr an Lochain, Sgùrr Beag, Creag nan Damh. Descended over Sgùrr a’ Chuilinn to reach the road a little short of where my car was.pwbellarby21/05/2000
