Angled up directly from Loch Quoich dam, finishing along ridge. A few outcrops to dodge on way up so descended directly to road from ridge a little west of the summit - straightforward.dickscroop27/02/2023
5 of 5: From Spidean Mialach. Dropped below the cloud at the col. At the HP fleeting views were coming and going. Descended to the road using deer tracks and an ATV track for the last 10 mins to 08069:02135. With Sam.ChrisR04/12/2022

Parked at NH074024. Circuit of Glac Raineach and Meall a’Mheil. Poor conditions made contouring round tricky as did the streams becoming rivers!BaggerGutt24/07/2022

I drove to Tomdoun expecting to meet two friends, but mobile phone not getting good reception, so I wasn't sure what they were doing. Went along the road and found one of their cars at the point where the road crosses Allt a' Ghobhainn. A stalkers' path goes northwards from here giving access to the north side of Spidean Mialach. I knew the plan was to approach Spidean Mialach and Gleouraich from the north so I assumed they had followed the stalkers' path. I did not know what time they had set off so I shortened my walk, expecting to see them somewhere on the ridge connecting the two hills. I walked up the stalkers' path to the bealach and then went west to reach the summit of Glac Raineach. Continued to reach the summit of Spidean Mialach, over a minor bump and down to the bealach with Gleouraich. There I met them! They had come up the stalkers' path from the north, which goes up to a point a little east of the bealach and does not end lower down as the map suggests.pwbellarby27/06/2006
my first ascent, solo, goc 98, cold & wind nights camp by loch quoich, followed the stalkers path up, over pt 840, then steeply up to a minor top then the summit of gleouraich, over a couple of minor tops to a low col, pt 977 then the summit of spidean mialach. continued on along the ridge to another col, pt 735 then descended to met a path coming over the ridge. followed this down to the road, met a couple of friends and walked to the topdown inn for the night.rum doodle 10/05/1998
