From the path through the wood behind Tullich cottages. The path fades away leaving neck-high ferns - in July. | Eddie | 26/06/2023 |
Parked at the golf club for a circuit of Glas Bheinn and Creag na h-Iolaire. Followed path across the road, then open country. Went up via trig. | PGCE | 26/05/2023 |
Parked at the entrance to Glasnock. Now trig is in the bag working my way back along the ridge | Andrew Simmons | 24/04/2023 |
As part of traverse of ridge to Sgurr a'Ghardaidh. From the car park opposite the church; along road to Tullich and new hydro track to dam before crossing and picking my way up the ridge line N of Alt Dubh to Glas Bheinn. Ridge is steep but does go, with only one bit of minor scrambling. | benalder284 | 01/04/2023 |
From the car park near golf club 1.5 km SW of Tullich. Followed the signed path a short way before leaving on a less clear track past the Tee for the 18th hole, this also was marked but not as obviously Once through the gate shortly after this picked my own way up the steep hillside to the trig point top. Then followed the ridge round over | dickscroop | 07/05/2022 |
The Allt a' Chuirn horseshoe from the substation and cattle grid along the A896 to the south. Started with estate tracks until due south of Creag Dabaobh, then straight up through heather, grasses, moss and lichen to its top, going over a deer fence en route. On to Glas Bheinn's trig and summit cairn, then rocky outcrops to the impressive Creag na h-lolaire and Sgurr a' Ghairaidh. Easier terrain to take in the minor tops of Meall na Caillich and Carnan before rejoining the estate tracks and the car. A good day out without coming across a fellow hiker. 5hrs total. | summitter | 22/03/2022 |
Used track from Tullich for ascent (note route passes diagonally directly in front of the house then rather indistinctly along a grassy gap). Returned via hydro track which joins A896 just NE of river. NB not a viable option when the river is in spate. | Tony S | 20/08/2021 |
Tullich - New hydro track - ENE ridge | Strathcarron | 03/07/2021 |
A896 parking by Loch an Loin through Coille Dubh to Bealach A Ghlas-Chnoic then thro' Nn.coire to Creag na h-lolaire, Glas Bheinn, trig point 711m & traverse to Sgurr a'Gharaidh then descent down WSW ridge to Loch an Loin. Fine bright cool clear day with sunny periods. Excellent views. | Vin | 16/05/2021 |

Seemed obvious after Gharaidh. Sought out the trigpoint too and then found my own way back to Glasnock. On way down met a chap from Knoydart JMT coming up barefooted. | Martin R | 28/09/2014 |
