Camped just south of Loch an Nidd. Easy walk up. Temperature inversion over the Fisherfield Forest! Brockenspectre! Very hot. Fabulous blues skies with a blanket of low cloud to about 400m. Solo.Dangerous Dave27/06/2019
Parked on A832 at NH162761. Biked along north side track of Loch a’ Bhraoin and on for about 1 km past Lochivraon. Followed track to NH086731 and then headed cross country towards Meallan an Laoigh. Relatively dry conditions so stream crossings were straight forward. Crossed final steam at NH076735 just above a small waterfall at 350m. Followed SE ridge to summit. Fantastic views. Returned by same route.BaggerGutt17/04/2019

Done after Sgurr Ban. Easy ascent but a long slog back to the tent at Loch Fada.Play2End09/10/2016
Audacious summit, looks rather phallic approached from E via An Sguman and Meallan Chuaich. Great setting: holds its own among exalted company. Back via Creag Rainich and its ridge tops.RHW11/06/2014
