Parking by Droma dam at west end of loch, immediately south of start of stalkers’ track N along river. Cut over rough heather, rocks and grass NW up shoulder to high point with cairn. So windy you could hardly stand and grey. Onto Murchaid. | Denise | 12/06/2022 |

From the dam south of the road, done directly after Beinn Liath Bheag. Two hills in separate regions, done within two and a half hours | Colin Crawford | 10/06/2016 |
Wind and snow so abandoned more ambitious plans and opted to walk in NE from Lochdrum Farm. Ar last minute spotted track going in from n end of Loch Glascarnoch so opted for this to avoid the extra height gain - a mistake, bog, heather etc, hard going in the wet snow. Again cut back and plans and came back out again via the Lochdrum Farm route (much better)taking in this top on the way. Took axe in view of wet snow. | dickscroop | 30/03/2015 |
