Parked in car park at Glen Calvie road end for a circuit of 12 Simms, 1 HF and 6 other tops. 43km, 2000m ascent, 13 hours. 2/13PGCE08/06/2021
Long route from Black Bridge. Along Strath Vaich. Very steep climb to flat summit of Meall a' Chuaille, traverse to Meall a' Chaorainn, then very steep descent back to track. Continued over Carn Lochain Sgeireich, Carn Feur-lochain, Dunan Liath then Beinn Tharsuinn and camped by Crom Loch. In the morning on to Carn Crom-loch and return. Rain for most of first day with low cloud, but cleared later.RobertP01/06/2019

W Jenx, backpacking in from Calvie Lodge. Pack near Deanich Lodge, then climbed Beinn a'Chaisteil direct, circled around tops to Graham Beinn Tharsuinn, and top back to packs. Camped by bridge at NH354840 (idyllic) before Carn Ban next day.nordicstar07/06/2013
