17 years down the road, Sail Garbh again plus this time all the others. NW to SE traverse over all rest of the ridge in calm largely clear conditions. best day of the week. This one fifth. Its a very dramatic cone from the path up to Sail Garbh and as I looked back three opf a goup of four Id seen coming off Spidean Coinnich towards it, stood right on the top. I zoomed in and captured a good pic. I thought I'd meet them later, probably on the northernmost Sail Gorm, and so it was. They were two couples from Spain, one from Toledo and one Barcelona.I thought they'd like a copy so I got an email address from one of them and ended up deciding to send the email with pic attached at precisely the tyime I too was on the very same top. Seemed very fitting | vegibagger | 18/09/2022 |

A really brilliant day for a round of all the Quinag tops starting from usual car park. Straightforward walkig all the way. Spidean Coinich (C); Creagh nan h-iolaire (Gt);Beinn Uidhe S top (Gt); Sail Garbh W top (Gt); Sail Garbh Far W top (Gt); out to Sail Gorm and back to Sail Garbh, back to bealach down to lochan and back to car. Cairngorm Club weekend meet at Elphin. I went to Ullapool and had coffee with a couple of other members. I then went to Quinag and went up all three Corbetts solo. First went up Spidean Còinich (764m) passing over the east Top, then over points 713m (Creag na h-Iolaire Ard) and 745m (Sàil Gharbh West Top) to Sàil Gharbh (808m). Then back over point 745m and over Sàil Gharbh Far West Top to Sàil Gorm (776m). Very hot. | pwbellarby | 07/07/1991 |
