Alex Heenan, Barry McGarahan, Craig Brackenridge Walked in the night before and camped overnight at the base of the climb. Early start and we summited before 10. then headed of to the other peak. After a small climb of around 2 meters which was quite exposed, reached the next summit around 11. Back down at the bottom for 12 and back in Lochinver not long after that. To keep the Ladies at home happy we headed off to Aviemore to stay in Craig's in laws caravan and have a well earned show, meal and drinks out. All in all a top weekend away with good mates.ian-e27/04/2019

2 friends camping. Sunny day, very pleasant but a long walk from b & b in Lochinver.NorfolkPT2113/07/1989
Drumbeg cotage group of 8 ascent. Walk in from Kirkaig -long.. but amazing views then' pioneered' an interesting and adventurous ascent(i.e dodgy loose rock and steep grass with a few dicey moves) weaving up to left of normal S face scree route, then scrambled to west main top then back to east top and back again to central col. Descended North to gain stalkers path for long walk out via Canisp Lodge to complete a crossing by 8.30pm. Magnificent mountain and views.Chris Pearson31/03/1986
With: hr; Suilven from Inverkirkaig & back. Path up River Kirkaig past falls & around Fionn Loch then steep up SW slope Bealach Mor & up to summit. Across ridge to Meall Meadhonachs then back by same route. HB:"7mls there & 7mls back & not even a Munro!"Ian Baines09/09/1985

Cairngorm Club Meet, Inchnadamph. Alone. From Little Assynt, going to the east side of Suilven. I went up the east side ridge to the easternmost top (Meall Beag). There was a tricky descent to the north to get to gap with next top (Meall Mheadhonach). I went up to the summits of this top and the 3rd top (Meall Mheadhonach West Top). On to the main top (Caisteal Liath) and back to the starting point. It was warm and sunny all day.pwbellarby11/07/1982
