|I wish I'd read Martin's log before I set off. I used my bike and overshot the ATV track as it's hard to spot. Went on to Creag a' Mhadaidh and the two hills took me 2hours 30m for 13k.||NormanW||28/05/2017|
|To be more accurate and precise the much acclaimed ATV track starts at NN90812 47208. And don't be put off by the fallen trees in the first 50M.||Martin R||07/05/2017|
|Found a track through the forest from the south west, that lead right to the top.||jenx||13/11/2016|
|Found an ok track through the trees leading from the southwest virtually to the summit. With Rick and Jen.||Alex C||13/11/2016|
|With Jenx and Alex C. Parked at good free CP GR885452 just off main road. Through gate and along tracks to Loch Kennard. Left turn midway along loch past old estate building. Right turn further on at col in forest. Continued to GR907472 and ATV track leading into forest. This is just past some natural thinnish plantation which was tempting as a route. Glad we took the ATV as it leads easily to close by the summit avoiding the need for any heather bashing. After summit took a line SW down steep heathery ground (glad not ascended that) to track to South of Loch Scoly and returned near to Loch Kennard ready for Creag a Mhadaidh.||nordicstar||13/11/2016|
|Cycled up forestry tracks from A826 to 400 metres east of summit. After that the terrain is uneven and locally steep, and the heather is long.||Topographer57||02/07/2016|
|Good tracks from Creag a'Mhadaidh, with direct route through trees to Loch Kennaird now a signposted track. Steep east face would be fine usually but was hard work in soft snow higher than wellies.||alda||16/12/2014|
|Creag a'Mhadaidh first, then took shortest route between forest roads: pretty easy shortcut. Then straight up S ridge: good path then bad sitka. Should probably have stuck to road and climbed steep E face. Easy descent W via good track, to forest road.||RHW||27/10/2012|
|CP. Track to near Dubh Loch (not visible). Steep heather - a bit of a path along the plateau. Pile of rocks on outcrop. With Tom.||chrisbien||01/12/2011|
