Good parking just before the track end at Ruthven. Track a good way up, then across short vegetation to the summit. Worthwhile visit to the cairn beyond for a view over the Findhorn.LizH19/06/2023

As others have said, it is worth walking the few extra metres to the slightly lower cairn for a far better view. The trip was very easy with a track to high ground then easy walking in short heather.Kiltie23/09/2022
Parking at end of road before houses. Grouse shooting area. Followed track up hill as mapped then heather, bilberries and cow berries to summit with wire fence. Extensive wild views. Returned same way. 3 miles.nice way to break journey north from A9.Denise 24/07/2022
From road end. Good track up SW shoulder all the way to the summit plateau with old peat cuttings. High point un-marked in heather/grass on line of old fence wire. Lunch by cairn on NE edge of plateau, good views of valleyRichardM24/07/2022
