Late clockwise circuit From Mallaig Beag along the coastal track to Just beyond the high point to where the north east Ridge is easy grassy accessible up to the summit and on to the lower 156m TuMP the NE down muddy path to join wider track.vegibagger27/09/2021
Parked in Malaig Bheag. Via the circular walk to Creag a Chait. Descended N, easily at first, then a bit steep and rough, to the marked track.Minto19/09/2021
From pull in near high point on road, picked up the Mallaig circular walk then easy over mainly grassy terrain to large cairn. Great views into Knoydart, quick bag before morning ferry to Eigg.N.Morters30/08/2021
From Mallaig's East Bay car park, up by the circular walk path to Creag a'Chait, then along the fence line a little way, leaving it to go over an intermediate little hill and up to Cruach Mhalaig. Great views through to the Knoydart hills. Contoured on an animal track back around the little hill to meet a waymarked track leading back to the initial path. Quite boggy in places, but good little walk.LizH31/10/2019
From Mallaig via the Creag a’Chait fp. Then back to top of Creag a’Chait. Both fine viewpoints but a murky morning. Got back to Mallaig before downpour.Campbell Singer16/06/2018
Solo from end of the road; parking at the 'no parking - turning only' sign, where I and 2 other cars parked without obstructing the turning space. Followed the mapped vehicle track to NM 6964 9775 which was the first viable opportunity to turn right and attack the hill.jonglew05/05/2018
Parked end of minor road straight up.robertphillips27/12/2017
From East Bay car park. Took longer than I had thought and nearly missed my Knoydart Ferry.NormanW08/05/2017
Lower level walk with family from Mallaig village centre on a windy day when high hills were out of bounds. Track along coast and then easily over grass/heather. Fine views as might be expected from the map.benalder28412/02/2017
From Cairn a Ghobair on way back to Glasnacardoch with A.PeterD22/07/2016
