If I'd read the descriptions on here I might not have set off two hours before sunset in the tail end of storm Babet. Glad I did though; superb little adventure in fine evening light, really memorable. Made it there and back in two hours despite some wrong turns early on. I had to shift though.AndyS20/10/2023
This is a good walk from Diabaig. The Walkhighlands route was very helpful to get us started. At the junction NG800593, we took the almost invisible path down around the coast, through lots of vegetation. But it might have been easier (and more fun) to stay up high on the short grass and rock, over the three Tumps east of Araid. That's the way we came back. It took about twice as long as Rob, which is maybe to be expected...Pete R04/09/2022
Path from Diabaig signed thru garden of last house, becomes adventurous with scrambling high above loch skirting crag with climbers on a steep route; I may have lost walkers route in bracken. On reaching saddle, best to go to far end then path up past ruins, this bypasses scrambly NE top which is 2-3m lower. Cairn with hp immediately to SW. Back via the 5 Tumps, very nice 3h30 evening circuit.RHW22/07/2017

With Mora, from Lower Diabaig, quite an expedition for such a small hill.BLACKHILL10/10/2015
An unusual, rewarding walk can be had from Diabaig NG 799598 out to this 142m summit of the peninsula Rubha na h-Airde. It is longer than may be imagined from a lazy cursory glance at a 1.50k map, I expected a couple of hours. In fact it took me nearly five, though I did explore all five mini summits on the interesting topology of the summit plateau. One can't get right along the coast on the beach. The path goes up the left side of the final house No1 Diabaig.Shortly you'll get to a bit with some slippery rock where there is a bit of blue rope fixed to grab on to the help pull up on the slippery rock and very helpful too. Shortly afterwards I went wrong. See a fence above, You need path to left that takes you to a gate through it and higher over top of crags before coming down to coast again. Path later splits with segment up SE. Need instead to head down to the bay side again and path almost peters out as it goes down to sea level again .
