A round of tops: Meall Odhar, Druim Mor, Little Glas Maol and Creag Leacach SW Top via Glas Maol and Creag Leacach. Started at the Devil's Elbow parking area and walked up the side of the road to the top of the pass, then headed up the partially snow-covered path to Meall Odhar, across to Glas Maol, then countoured around the 1000m line to the bealach between Glas Maol and Carn of Claise. Before reaching Carn of Claise, headed SE up to Druim Mor. Returned back to Glas Maol the same way, and once again contoured around - this time to Little Glas Maol. Headed back to Glas Maol and this time reached the summit, before heading over the ridge to Creag Leacach, then around to the SW top, and then dropped down to just before Meall Gorm, then then down to All Coire a' Bhathaich, and followed that back out to the Devil's Elbow. Blue skies and freezing winds for the most part, though the soft snow with a thin crusty top layer made it a little tougher going than expected. Total Time 6h 43mimproudfoot06/01/2024
From the car park at 148800 up the good path to Sron na Gaoithe, ridge path to contour Cairn of Claise easily to Druim Mor, a fine viewpoint. Back over Cairn of Claise and Carn an Tuirc W and E tops, easy down the burn to the ruined hut and good path back.Gill02/10/2023

Continued towards Glas Maol, contouring round to Little Glas Maol, then over Glas Maol itself, then following tracks north, contouring round to Druim Mor, then straight up Carn of Claise, and continuing on to Carn an Tuirc, descended N/NW to join path back to A93kdbennett18/06/2017
Circuit of Monamenach, Creag Leacach and Glas Maol from Auchavan. Descended the path from Caderg, but I could not trace it beyond the first few zigzags.davidpettit8414/04/2017

From Glas Maol en route to Cairn of Claise. Heavy snow and limited visibility so stuck to edge of plateau above Caenlochan Glen.benalder28412/12/2015
A long detour on the way back from Tom Buidhe - worth it for the view over the Caenlochan Glen. GR given 18999,77138 is for the cairn but ground to the north is higher by a couple of metres. I offer ND 18964,77239Crib Goch18/10/2015

With friends. Raining in the morning so a delayed start. We went to the Fife Arms in Braemar expecting to be able to get some coffee. None was available due to flooding so we sat and chatted. Went to Glen Clunie, leaving the cars in the car park at 145806. We ascended the Monega Pass path, avoiding Sròn na Gaoithe to the NE. I went on alone to Druim Mòr and then ascended to Cairn of Claise to rejoin the others there. We walked eastwards to Tom Buidhe. Then to Tolmount avoiding too much descent by going somewhat westwards. We ascended Carn an Tuirc. On the final climb up it rained and from the summit onwards thunderstorms produced considerable rain so we were very wet by the time we reached the cars. Some mist but mostly clear visibility.pwbellarby20/09/1992
Good views, hot, sunny. Top moved Dec 2023, in retrospect and from notes, you would walk over this to get to the old coords.iangalbraith05/07/1992

Peak bagging on x-county skis - however testing condition of blowing snow, hard ice, and strong wind, and little skill. Ditched skis for last bit out and back on foot here to top -still hard work but easier than on skis!Chris Pearson12/01/1991
