Parked at an inshot 20yds down the forest track at NS06198 96074. Crossed the road and straight on up (the forest is only a scattering of trees here.) Quite pleasant walking going up on the south side of the fence maintained by sheep. A bit heathery and uneven higher up heading for the summit.LizH03/07/2019

From A886. Parked where forest road met the A886. However, a better parking area is just a little way along the forest road. Went straight up, crossing the BWFs.Alan Moore10/04/2018
