Logged Descriptions  (logged by 38 users)ByDate of Ascent
From Carn Chrom initially on open ground, then through short stretch of pine forest (having missed the descending firebreak!). Up through firebreak on useful deer track, and to summit, probably between the two cairns. Descended back to col and down wide firebreak from NJ3337 3320, through short section of pine, then widely spaced deciduous trees (very wet underfoot), to track at NJ3380 3281, close to junction with windfarm track & back to car.LizH27/02/2024
From car park at Bridgehaugh. Steeply up gap from SW. Trees fairly sparse. On return took a more direct line towards derelict Glenfiddich Lodge.govanah18/10/2023
From Carn Chrom through the wood past first cairn then cairn with memorial near high point. Descent by firebreak to 335327 and windfarm road.NormanW24/04/2022
3 of 4: From Carn Allt a Chlaiginn. Due east to the WF road to the control building. Left the road near the mast on the north side of the fence to avoid climbing it. To 335327 and up the break to the east cairn, then to the west cairn: HP. Memorial headstone by the cairn to Duke of Richmond flaking away. With Karen.ChrisR02/03/2022
After Scaut using route of path through trees shown starting at ca335327. Trail most obvious above trees but much deep heather (and initial deer fence) to negotiate.Tony S16/10/2021

parked at 352342. up forestry track. W of track junction there is a good wide ride which takes you onto summit of Carn Chrom, then the ridgeline has been shaven of trees enabling a simple walk to the main summit which has grand views. the descent SE from the bealach 335335 is pleasant through replanted rowans etcThearlaichdubh05/05/2014
