Drove to car park near top but did the circular walk around Hill of Easterton in clockwise direction first which comes back out at Cross of Jackston and walked back up hill from there to top (so technically climbed it!!) Walked up to the compound around main mast and through little gate at rear that takes you out to open summit and trig point tucked up hard against the compound fence.Jossker23/10/2022

Drove up the mast Road, stopping to let shepherd drive sheep downhill. Into compound and out the back gate to trig.NormanW23/04/2022
Summit is home to the 1955 BBC TV mast - coat of arms on building has the wrong slogan 'Whatsoever' (in Latin) - had been changed back at time of building to 'nation shall speak to nation'. Luckily it is a good km to the lower S summit where festers the cow slurry lagoon which is used to fertilise the cow pastures below of Westerton Farm owned by the famous Mackie's who produce wonderful ice cream. (with funnily enough make no mention in their adverts of the giant slurry lagoon being part of the production process)Chris Pearson20/03/2020
Parked at the end of the road and walked the last little bit up the track to the masts. Convenient gate out to the trig point and summit area.LizH19/01/2020

Easy tracks - the trig is in field at rear and even has an access gate from the compound.Chris Peart22/05/2018
No gates on road until just before summit so able to drive very close. As well as three big masts and sense of high electromagnetic radiation in area so did a quick run up and back w Jen and the pupnordicstar27/01/2018
Bagging the trig.BigJ11/07/2017
Drove all the way up the dodgy track and parked at the gate. In hindsight should have parked a wee but lower down where it was much easier to turn. Trig at the back of compound, wee steps and gate into field. Lots of sheep.thejackrustles22/01/2017
