From Glen Prosen. With B and R.jenx27/09/2023
Round of Hill N of Glen Prosen from good packing in quarry near Buckhood. Fairly direct climb to The Goal, then along ridge to Craigs of Lethnot, Hill of Couternach, Coremachy, Cairn of Barns and Hill of Strone. Return along ridge, bypassing summits of Cairn of Barns and Coremachy, and climbed Knachly and Hill of Spott on return. Cold on the higher tops, but good views to Lochnagar and stayed dry.RobertP01/08/2023
Self and dog from Glenprosen Lodge. not much visibility from the summit but the woods are full of pine martens and the hillside is full of field voles :-)Invicta1424/06/2023

From CP near Clova Hotel. Continued to Cairn of Barns & Coremachy then down to track at approx 342712.duchally09/01/2023
Along the forestry track from Cramie, which goes all the way to Cairn Inks and as a lesser track along to Hill of Strone. Then back to cairn Inks and along minor tracks to Cairn of Barns and Coremachy. Doubled back again, this time to just shy of Cairn Inks, where a deer track gives a good run to the deer fence up to Mount Bouie, where the high point seems be adjacent the aforementioned fence. Finished by heading N then W around the forest edge back to the starting track. 4.5 hours total.summitter04/11/2022
It’s close on 70 years since I walked slopes around this hill while grouse-beating. That’s a long time to delay my summiting. A lot of damage from the Autumn storms at the bottom but surprised to see no sign of fallen trees close to the track on the ascent through the woods. A good hill for the bike.Kiltie03/07/2022
Cycled from Glenprosen Lodge through the forest, through the last gate on to the hill, and abandoned my bike at the end of the metalled road at 550m. Just a trudge to the top on the grassy atv track, but the descent was a delight with incredible visibility in all directions.NormanW02/06/2022
Parked at the end of the forest track from Glenprosen Lodge. Followed the track all the way to the summit. Trees down after Storm Arwen had been cleared from the road and the track, but the devastation caused by fallen trees around the lodge, and the area in general, was extensive. Very sad to see.LizH13/12/2021
