From Kirkibost, up and back. Parked at end of a track (NF 7861 6575), had a chat with pleasant lady house owner who gave me the route in detail! But more importantly ok with me parking by her house. | jonglew | 09/03/2023 |
From the community centre car park. Nice remote feel once away from fields. Interesting standing stone/cairn on way up. With B and R. | jenx | 18/09/2019 |
boggy trudge over heather in rain; standing stones on slopes impressive. Parked at community centre with good cafe. | Denise | 25/05/2019 |
Via quarry track and Druim Langara. Easy going apart from heather on final slopes. | Chris Peart | 27/04/2019 |
Continuation from Druim Langara. Track from Claddach Kirkibost appears to go further than shown on my map, so that's probably an easier way. The viewing angle to St Kilda allows Boreray and Stac an Armin to be seen separately, or was it just my imagination. | mae | 03/09/2018 |
Pleasant walk in from parking at junction to SE. Lovely looking hill. | Thearlaichdubh | 26/05/2018 |
Past loch an Faing Bhuidhe and keep to slightly higher ground. Easy gradient to summit over dry ground after 2 weeks dry weather. Visit the chambered cairn (ruin) and huge standing stone. Amazing landscape clearly visible to the east. | Campbell Singer | 14/04/2016 |
From SW. Had to be towed out of my parking place so park at end of side road at NF785686. Standing stones just worth the minor detour. | jimbloomer | 03/10/2014 |
