Old drove road is now a highway for timber extraction with lots of new planting going on. Nice views over to the west. | ARM | 04/11/2022 |
Clockwise circuit from home. | richtea5040 | 31/08/2022 |
Lots of woodland planting happening to the S/SE. Access was possible but lots of track-building, machinery and workers. Probably better at a weekend until all the work is finished. | 49pp | 17/08/2022 |
Circuit from Corb Bridge, taking the track to the junction at the start of Corb Glen, ascending over the flank of Perk Hill to Corb Law, then following the fence to the western end of Corb Glen, where a steep ATV track heads from the gate towards the summit of John's Hill, now with its name neatly painted on a summit marker pebble. Down and up another ATV track to the barely distinct twin tops of Sim's Hill, back to the col and contouring around John's Hill to Lamb Hill and its even less distinct double summit bumps, before descending to the B934, through what what is likely to be profuse tussock grass in summer. | Nick Down1 | 01/01/2022 |
Quick up and down from Corb Bridge. Probably easier outwith the bracken season though not too hard to avoid. New fences and plantation to the north. | daviemore | 14/07/2021 |
Parked at the Corb Bridge car park at NO 0166 0819, and along the Corb Glen track to NO 0098 0865, then up grassy slopes to the summit. On to John's Hill, Sim's Hill and Lamb Hill. | LizH | 14/05/2021 |
Circuit of Steele's Knowe and associated tops from Glen Devon. | thekirkie pirate | 25/03/2021 |
Anti-clockwise circuit from home. | richtea5040 | 11/06/2020 |
Cycled in to Corb Glen, walking from a gate across the glen track and along an old fence line running NW to the summit. The top of the hill has had a deer fence erected around it for some reason. | summitter | 29/03/2020 |
Circuit of Perk Hill, little Law, Muckle Law, Corb Law, Drummond's Top, Black hill of Kippen, Eldritch Hill, Priest Knowe and Chapel Hill from Littlerig CP. The four tops listed after Corb Law and before Chapel Hill are badly blighted by recent large-scale forestry plantings, so I wouldn't recommend them unless you are minded to bag them before the trees make them inaccessible. | TRG318 | 28/03/2020 |
Parking at Corb Bridge then took the Corb Glen track before striking up grassy slopes to summit as sun setting. Frosty and icy path. | N.Morters | 01/12/2019 |
Solo trip. Park near Corb Bridge. Main hazard on track is cattle-feeding area opposite Corb - 100m of smelly organic mud. Otherwise straightforward ascent. | Invicta14 | 20/03/2019 |
By the track from near Corb bridge. | hillsman | 08/01/2019 |
From B934, West along farm track to Corb Glen then up by forestry plantation. | NormanW | 01/05/2017 |
From FC car park, track to plantation then ATV tracks and path to near summit. Open views to north and north-east. | benalder284 | 23/04/2017 |
Corb Law, John's Hill, Sim's Hill, Lamb Hill, with Alexander. Bitterly cold in the Corb Glen at first, but sunny on top. Glad of the ice-axes on the steep col between Corb Law & John's Hill. | agentmancuso | 14/01/2017 |
Along the track from the car park. A steep grassy hill. | Play2End | 06/07/2016 |
from fc cp near corb bridge on atv tracks to the top. | robertphillips | 27/10/2015 |
