Done in combination with Moncrieffe Hill as a circular walk out from the centre of Perth. Can imagine the views from here are excellent on a clear sunny day, but the light was rapidly fading as I got up here in the late afternoon and the rain set again once again as I hurried on back down to town.Alex C03/01/2024
Dedicated parking at NO108217. S up tk, over M90, up through trees to escape at kissing gate with awkward chainIsbjorn25/09/2023
From S, having parked in the space a few yards east bf the track end. Despite the Ochils being snow-free, the track resembled a toboggan run, although the frozen summit area which would otherwise have been churned to mud by cattle was compensation. A rather nice viewpoint.Nick Down120/01/2023
With Mark P. As N. Morters: From small parking area for St Magdalene's Hill to the North. Up track, over the M90, then path through woodland before joining the mast track. Carry on through field to the trig.MickyRoss02/04/2022
From CP on Glendevon road -animal free.gav77730/12/2021
1 of 3: From the small CP at Glendevon Road. Wet day so Plan B hills. With Karen.ChrisR27/09/2021
From the corner of Glendevon Road. Up on tracks. Another beautiful day. Bumped into a nice chap from Perth mountaineering club. Nice way to spend half an hour in the spring sunshine! 50 mins, but could easily be done in 20.Nicky C05/03/2021
8.5 km pre dawn run from the Salutation Hotel in Perth. Fifth and final hill of my four day stay in Perth learning more about beavers.Herbert Anchovy06/02/2020
From North, as per nordicstar.willyross28/01/2020
Parked just off the minor road a short distance east of the track end, to the south of the hill. Followed the track to the masts, then through the gate and across to the trig point. Beautiful cold, sunny day. Great views.LizH17/11/2019
First of Perth trio... from Parking for St Magdalene’s Hill to the north. Up the mast track, over the M90, then pleasant path through the woodland before joining the other mast track. Short walk over field of bullocks to the trig. Suspicion that the ground near the smaller mast could be higher. Sunny, and great views over PerthN.Morters13/11/2019
Second visit, with Chris Peart, from MailerColin Crawford31/10/2018
Small layby for 1 car at NO 1013 2028. Signed FPs from 50m W to trig pillar at top.jonglew11/06/2018

From car park and track to masts. Cows in field.hillsman19/09/2017
Approach from S along good track up to masts. Rain with distant views in mist. Some cattle in hill top field - no problems however. Apart from high point 2m S of trig, I also visited point at NO 1017320961 near a mast.ger04/09/2017
From Perth Railway station, following streets to top of hill and signposted tracks. Much more pleasant than Kinnoull Hill. Great panorama, fine bridge over motorway. On to Burghmuir.Thearlaichdubh11/07/2017
Parked in pleasant free carpark in Moncreiff to NE of summit then walked on marked path over the motorway, through woods and up to summit through sheep pasture with aerials. Trig on grassy hump, but think the HP was on south side of western aerial compound, c 45 p E of trig on another grassy mound.Denise 15/04/2017

Pleasant ascent from Mailer side. Up track from lay-by above houses (now changed name) and then circular path to trig and mast buildings.summitter12/03/2017
Bagged at dusk, totally dark by the time I got back to the car but I spent too long looking for the geocache in the gorse! Accessed from the road to the south up the mapped track. Easy-ish walk up and through the gate into the field.thejackrustles05/02/2017

Easy parking on the minor road and up the good track. Through two gates to the trig point.Play2End16/06/2015
Lovely walk up, with great views north over Perth, through the woods from the north across the noisy motorway, but with accompanying birdsong gradually starting to dominate.vegibagger20/09/2014

Throughly pleasant walk from car park on SW side of Perth housing estate. Crossed over M90 via footbridge.Minto19/11/2011
Parked easily to south and then up zig zag track to summit. Trig appears to be highest point.chriswatson05/10/2011
With Geoff Entwistle, a SCD leader with HF holidays. He was surprised to find how few Marilyns he had visited after a lifetime of hill walking! By bus to the end of route 5. On streets, over motorway and on bridal paths through a farm and woods, following coloured rings to the top of Moredun Hill. Then down to the column 5924 at 14.15, which I visited in June 2000. Views over River Earn's oxbows. I continued upwards to a path over another motorway to farmland with a herd of cows and to the top at 15.40. Column 6012. Waited 20 minutes for a return bus.arranc08/09/2011
