Self and dog. Very quick ascent from Knockewart farm. Can park in disused gateway at NS249476, without blocking the road.Invicta1421/02/2023
From the wind farm track at the reservoir to Knock Jargon,on to North Hill (limbo under the fence),down to the man made loch and cup and ring marked rock,up Blackshaw Hull, down and up through the forest to the wind farm track.ARM26/01/2023
Across from Knock Jargon. Able to slide under the gate to get the HP and trig.Andrew Simmons10/01/2023
#4 of 7 hills of Seamill Horseshoe from W.Kilbride to Ardrossan Town Stations. Knowledge of leopard crawl could be handy.lordtonult06/12/2022
From road end at Knockewart. Up the track through farm to compound in drizzle. Walked round compound good enough for me than scaling the newish 10ft fence topped with triple barbs.N.Morters07/08/2022
From Knock Jargon, into the compound for the summit with trig (entry at ground level) then back down to the reservoir top.Adrian08/05/2022
Approached from Knock jargon. 20min top to top.colazione22/01/2022
Still doable but trickier than before with three rows of barbed wire on top of the gate.Dave McG26/12/2021
Couldn't access the trig pillar. A swanky new fence has been errected around the Comms tower and the gate was padlocked, denying access. Did a circuit of the fence to justify claiming I'd bagged the summit.PeteR201703/01/2021
Local walk bike and hike from my house, knock jargon, north hill, blackshaw hill, law hill, tarbert hill.robertphillips28/04/2020
Came across from Knock Jargon, then down the first straight part of the track towards Knockewart, leaving it to go through a gate and drop diagonally down to the road by a gate at approx. NS245 472. Walked back along the road past the reservoir, to the car at the wind farm track.LizH13/02/2020
Parked at south end of reservoir, plenty space. Followed windfarm tracks and then across moor to mast. Sunny day, Arran has snow.iangalbraith13/03/2018
Parked at the road-end and walked up the very icy road to the mast compound. Easy gaps in the metal fence. Good views over the firth of Clyde. (Before breakfast and sunrise ! )NormanW09/12/2017
A very unwise and hairy drive up an increasingly manky track with many fears of getting stuck and unable to turn round... trig S4813vegibagger16/11/2017
Just enough time to climb this and find a spot to pitch my tent before it got too dark.Alex C10/08/2017
Windfarm track then gate Punch Bowl Busbie Muir pass E of Knock Jargon and onto top. Couldn't get through the fence last time but there are a number of big gaps for fatties and a whole section missing. To top of KJ on the way back.chrisbien13/12/2016
9th hill of 11 today from West Kilbride station climbing Drummilling hill, Campbelton hill, Goldenberry hill, Auld hill, Tarbert hill, Craigspark Plantation, Coal hill and Knock Jargon down to turbine access Track and then continuing upto fenced compound. Access into compound is as others Have stated through gap in fencing about 10m from gates. Descent West down to the pond at the foot of Blackshaw hill.Dazingdale19/09/2016
From SE. Verge parking at start of track. On arrival at compound gates go L to access gap in fencing.jimbloomer05/06/2016
Passed the Richardson test and got through the gap with ease.Campbell Singer04/06/2016
Knockfencedown. Lo-security fencing. If too rotund for the biggest gap, then probably not able to walk that far.Martin R19/04/2016
Follow the paths from W Kilbride railway station, bear diagonally up left(N) after farm after castle on cattle track through gorse to Law summit, then various paths through farmland, forestry and windfarm to summit. Trig point is in compound. The ironmongery spoils what would be a superb viewThearlaichdubh16/10/2015

Goska doggy walkMountain Goat15/08/2014
Parked at first gate across road at Knockewart. 3/4 mile walk to top 9.35.arranc24/02/2011
Up from Ardrossan via the eastern end of the windfarm. Missing bar in fence a fair way down to the left of the gate enabled me to reach the trig itself, but the rotund would indeed struggle.campagvelocet28/01/2009
Good circuit via nearby cache and hillfort. Only skinny folks will reach the top, owing to telecom fortifications.agentmancuso28/12/2007
OK hill & view. easy tk from SE, goes S not N of farm; summit is hi-sec fenced RHW24/08/2003
