Parked on verge at Culshabbin and immediately through gate to field. Thereafter headed in direction of summit although two stone walls to cross. Otherwise we could have been in with a large herd of cattle.Crumblie204/02/2024
P verge at Culshabbin, track to NE of top & up via standing cairns.agentmancuso30/04/2021
Parked at a wide gate entrance at NX31018 51096. Walked back along the road to the track, following an ATV track into the field. Across the field, past a gate to cross the wall on a nice 'stone stepped' stile near the wall/fence junction. A stile immediately opposite crossed the next fence (NX30674 50544) and on up over grass to the summit. Great views. Returned more directly towards the main track, through a gate, then over a stile at NX30938 50584 onto the track (avoiding a herd of inquisitive black cattle, that had moved onto our ascent route!).LizH21/07/2020
Last hill of the day. Roadside verge parking by old schoolhouse (NX 30681 51022). Farm track, then over awall and across rough pastures to top. Trig pillar just off the summit. With TJ and AC.jonglew25/03/2018
Probably the best hill of the day, left until last. Very very nice to see the big Galloway hills, all clear, from this direction.Alex C25/08/2017
4th hill of 8 today on a route from Kirkcowan to Port William, climbing Boreland Fell, Craigeach Fell and Craiglarie Fell, across marshy ground and a wide burn (aided by a wooden post found in the grass)to reach minor road, following it South inc lunch stop at Mochrum Loch. I climbed over a fence just west of Culshabbin and made my way through the dense bracken using trails made by the cattle wherever possible climbing over a few stone walls en-route. Nice views in good weather on top. Rough descent through bracken making my way to the old chapel, heading SE.Dazingdale03/08/2017

From Culshabbin Schoolhouse by track south, then up NE 'ridge'. Got 'buzzed' by a man in a white van when back at car - possibly local farmer, but no confrontation.Man of Kernow125/02/2012
