From little car park over bridge up tracks to new mast then last few metres to old mast base. Returned on different track just for change. Just noticed it's an island!SS10/10/2020
Parked at the advised spot and spent a pleasant hour zig zagging up the track to the summit. Pity the trees obscured the views as it was a cracking evening.3 kinnears20/07/2020
Zig-zag route up the forest tracks from the small parking area to the SW at approx NX601 881. Came through part of the forest on the way down, but not straight forward.LizH12/07/2020

Parked area just over Water of Deugh bridge. Zig- zagged up forest roads, to new Mast. Team working on mast; said they were converting 3G to 4G. Not just screw on another G? Stumps of old mast to S is high point. Is this an island tick? With the F.C.The Captain29/07/2017
From the carpark follow the E bank of the Water of Deugh until you get about 30m from NX 59864 89145. Fight your way to this position and then follow a path up the hill to the motorway's hairpin. Ascend directly (off road) through pleasant mature trees.jimbloomer08/02/2017
