3/8 A long walk from Innerleithen. Lee Pen, Black Knowe, Clog Knowe ridge, then along edge of forest to access Dunslair Heights by a Forest ride leading straight to it. Then down and up bike tracks to Shieldgreen Kips, back to pick up track round to Lamb Law (ducking under trees for this one), then Cardon Law and Whiteside Edge. Then walked gradually down to the Bike visitor centre and bus back to town from Glentress. About 20 miles.nickywood103/09/2023
Parking at start of private road to Leithen Lodge (NT329423). There is an ATV track goes SE from the metal bridge, but it crosses the Leithen Water at a more-than-boot-deep FORD. The first FB N of the metal bridge leads only to An Tx which can be linked to zig-zag up and SE to intercept the former ATV track along Woolhope Bank. High up at a green fork, go R, or else you’ll be in deep heather, to the top of Clog Knowe. Down and up to Black Knowe and on to Lee Pen. Back to col N of Lee Pen and down faint ATV track to The Ley and a tedious drag back N along the B709 roadIsbjorn02/05/2023
