From layby on A702 up side of field (crops) over fence/gate at top then up fence to gate and across to summit (saltire flying proudly on sub top to west). Returned on a more southerly line but ended up coming down same field. Excellent viewpoint.SS12/06/2021

Parked on the verge just after the Y junction to the SW. Over the gate and around the field edges, then over another 2 gates and up the hill. Began ascent from Layby on A72 just to the North of Biggar. Climbed the Eastern slopes up to the North top at 329 m before heading to the higher Southern summit at 363 m. Spectacular views from the tops both of which contain the remains of an Iron age fort. Descent by reverse route. Weather conditions , Sunny with good visibility.Steve51128/02/2013
