As others, from the end of the minor road. Summit and alternative (with the OS bolt).PGCE06/02/2021
Parking area at end of minor road to N. at SH 6568 2019 - SW along track for about 160m to gate & stile on left - Over stile & along path to pedestrian gate in wall at 655198 - Through gate & up path alongside wall to join N. ridge - Faint intermittent path/trods up ridge to rocky knoll that may be as high & then across to the small summit cairn. Both tops visited. Easy to find trails through the heather once through the gate in the wall. With B and R.jenx11/03/2020
As others, from parking area at end of road, followed instructions to path by edge of wood, through gate then farmer's vehicle and animal tracks through grassy areas to the HP. Key to getting onto the access land for this hill has the grid ref: SH 6552 1979. We followed the N ridge down for the views until it steepened to reveal very rough ground and a high wall- then reverted to the route we took up. With brother, Petepwheeler12/09/2018

from parking area at end of road, followed previous instructions to path by edge of wood, through gate then various faint paths to both tops.Rob5023/11/2016
Revisited while in the valley, for the trig, which is a platform bolt, a design unique to Wales and the Southwest. Followed path beside wood as previous logs, then got onto good path outside wall leading onto ridge crest. Noted a stile built into wall a few m W of its highest point. On descent I rearranged the barbed wire and carefully climbed over. Maybe the farmer disputes the access land designation here? Wall lower down has a serviceable ladder stile. These stone stiles are a feature locally e.g. at N saddle of 310m Clogau.RHW23/11/2014
Continuation of walk from Diffwys. Re-traced my outward route back to west top, then descended Braich ridge south to the lane. Used Arranc's instructions to reach the top, using sheep tracks starting from west side of the hill. Rocky knoll near trig point base looked higher. For return, followed trail west to Rhos Caerau and beyond, then trail south to Goetre-uchaf.Man of Kernow126/05/2014
Do not cross any stone walls by stiles or any other means. From the car park at the end of the road, walk SW on the track for 120 yards to a gate in the wall to the left, just B4 the track goes up hill by the forest corner. Go through this and follow WDP to a small lychgate in a cross wall by the forest edge. Go through this and turn left up to the rough top. An OS bolt is easily visible on the first tump before the top.arranc09/04/2014
Should have read the notes below, rather than relying on the mapGordonAdshead16/07/2013
Eastward direct descent to the road not recommended, numerous awkward walls and fences to get in the way.Alex C28/05/2013
Did both possible tops - one (pictured) has a cairn, the other is a little rocky outcrop which itself has two tops a couple of yards apart.clivevilla28/02/2013
Followed AB\'s route. It\'s a pleasant summit on a sunny evening.Chris Peart07/10/2012
From SH 656 201. Both tops visited.summitsup05/05/2012

Found the stile eventually and then a reasonable path to the twin summit.chriswatson06/11/2010
If starting from the end of the road to the north, don't take the obvious path directly up the ridge. You will need to climb a high wall. Follow the track along the edge of the wood.andrew brown27/09/2010
started at the end of the road to the north east where you can easily park. think this is a twin top as i got the same height on my gps for both.DARRENG22/08/2010
parked at 657 202 - followed path to 2nd stile and then turned left onto hillside - believe to be first logging on this site of this topPhil M11/08/2010
