Bridleway from Cwmdockin to south. The only obstacle is in the farmyard where the bridleway is blocked by a tied-up gate; otherwise straightforward walking. Lovely and quiet round here.Wycombe Wanderer19/01/2022
Easy parking to S. by ruined barn at SO 1375 9571 - NW down road for about 200m & up partly concreted farm track to Pencaenion - At farm gate & boundary fence turned left & headed N. across cattle pasture to pick up a stone track; this heads N. & then E. & ends within 15m of unmarked summit mound. Plenty of cattle about, but not threatening. (S)gerrybowes06/05/2021
As others, via Cefn-Caenion. Plenty of parking by old barn at corner of road, 137956.PGCE21/08/2020

On grassy ridge in gorse edged sheep pasture-An obvious but unmarked summit with great green rural views on a hot Spring day.Our last hill of the day in our 8 tump and one trig circuit from Dolforwyn Castle.Denise 02/04/2017
With scant evidence of any marked foot paths in this area we take a direct line from Cefn-Caenion to this our last peak of the day. A day of bright lush green fields, sheep with lambs and warm sunshine.RichardM02/04/2017

Parked at SO 13530 96996 and climbed Pen-caenion and Cefn-Dinas, Plenty of bwfs and a couple of streams so they do not go together as easily as I had envisaged.clivevilla13/01/2016
Parked at start of forest track on lane at SO 13530 96996 (room for 2-3 cars). Walked west down to Llwyn Coch, then up to cattle shed below wood, and on up steeply to unmarked summit. Some barbed wire fences to tackle by this route. With MP on a survey. Walk continued to Pen y Gaer. NOT a twin top with Pen y Gaer.Man of Kernow111/01/2015
As CW - no problems.Chris Peart22/10/2014
P at start of track SW of P. No ROW signs. The ROW is blocked by barbed wire at the wood. Instead go through gate and follow line to E of fence.chrisbien13/03/2012
