Fourth Hu of day after a late start because of poor weather. We got a shower on the summit. Walked up from the road jct W of The Cross (parking on triangle); the route to the summit is much more obvious, where it leaves the ROW, than the ROW itself. With Petepwheeler01/05/2017

Left car at a junction of lanes. Over track of old railway up on signed bridal path.. A steep sided field of thistle strewn grass. Plod up on grassy runs between thorny gorse to horizon, BWF to top at 14.40. Small rocky spur with no cairn. 14.40.arranc31/08/2012
