Continuation of walk from Carn Porth-llong. Descended south-east to stream, then rising path up west flank of Carn Llidi. At its highest point a concreted path leads up onto Carn Hen. The path then goes east to summit tower. To reach the summit is a short easy scramble, with good hand- and foot-holds, on gabbro. To descend, followed ascent route down to main path to lane, then west down B4583 to car park.marktrengove31/07/2014
