Circuit of the three island Tumps. Three red deer from summit. Cloudless sky!garyhoney30/05/2023
On a round of the 3 hills on the main Ramsey Island. As all, this one was on a good path off the main long circuit of the island. With all the detours, it was still only 5.5 miles. Sunny day with visibility just good enough to make out Skomer Is. Went to have a look from the N side of Ogof Colomennod as an extra detour, to see nesting guillemots and spring flowers, before ascending the Hump- well worth spending the 5.5 h on the island to savour this lovely place.pwheeler11/05/2022
What a lovely island. Saw numerous seal pups, red deer and completed the three peaks challenge of Carnysgubor, Carnllundain and Foel Fawr.clivevilla06/10/2021
'Thousand Island' trip to Ramsey Island. From farmhouse, did the short clockwise circuit covering the S. end of the island. Left the trail on a couple of occasions to visit the tops of Foel Fawr & Carnllundain. (DB)gerrybowes20/07/2021
10am boat from St Justinian's. Quick whizz round Carnysgubor and Carnllundain. Back in time for 12 noon boat back. A nice island.PGCE19/07/2021
From the harbour, anti-clockwise around the island trail then up the short path to the summit.Mariana Trench20/06/2021
Due to boat engine failure and some quick reschulincg had limited time on island, just time for quick round of 3 summits. 1hr circuit. on arrival back at farmhouse, a cement lorry stuck on mainland was causing further havoc with boat schedules, allowing time for a cuppa and a quick hunt for CBMs. Good service from 1000 islands despite things beyond there control.cjo20/08/2019
With Jenx but not Bryher, not a dog friendly isle. 1000 islands boat, from old lifeboat station. RSPB isle, bagged the two other Tumps too in an 1.5 hr circuit. Just time for cuppa tea before boat backnordicstar05/04/2019

10am boat from St Justinian's lifeboat slip. Returned on noon boat which gave time for this and Carnysgubor tump; Foel Fawr tump could also be included for joggers/runners. Easy paths. Lovely island, stay longer if you're into wildlife, but Skomer much better.jonglew26/07/2014
£11.00 boat trip from St Justinian (RSPB free landing) at 12.00 gives 4 hours ashore. Choughs and baby seals on the beaches. Magic! Rained all the time!arranc13/09/2013
Path all the way. Great day out.destaylor26/08/2012
I was lucky enough to pick a bright and sunny day to visit the island during an otherwise wet, windy and miserable week.Alex C20/04/2012
Stunning location. Walked with the family (at 3 year old pace) from the landing site and then did a loop back around the southern edge of the island. Lots of choughs and seals with pups too.Herbert Anchovy15/09/2011
I was that three year old.M415/09/2011
Time between boats allows for full circuit, enough twitching to satisfy my bird interest and to read about mass shooting in Norway. Sad and strange juxtapositionMartin R25/07/2011
