Grassy dome. Adjacent fields also visited. Skylarks. Dock viewsDenise 19/02/2024
From track to NW, field gate and gentle improved pasture slope to levelish summit area. Gateway in hedge line feels as a good a high point as any. Visited all potential rises including the one to the SSE which once there definitively feels lower. Warm sunshine. Skylarks.RichardM19/02/2024
Solo 5.5 mile run from SS776894 up the lane that turns from tarmac to gravel .. through the gate next to pylon .. stayed on the track along fence line until next gate then up to high point on field .. returned same way then .. once back on main track turned right to do the obvious clockwise loop that takes you back to the top of the tarmac lanemilejunkie27/03/2023
Parked at track end on B4282. Lots of notices about private farmland low down but on RoW track to gate just after farm sheds- easy stroll up pasture as others. Between showers and low cloud but views while on this hill.pwheeler16/05/2022

I parked to the N on the B44282 being careful not to block entrance. Accessing the top took an age as it involved two long conversations with farmers on the way up, both pleasant. Field now full of turnips for the sheep.Father Ted08/12/2013
park to north at 799919. bridal paths to last field to left.arranc08/10/2013
Parked roadside on B4282 approx 300m west of Penhydd-waelod and took public paths for most of the way. Final 200m is over farmland. Hill summit is not marked but it seemed obvious where it was.jonglew27/07/2013
Port Talbot to Maesteg. Pleasant sheep field in the midst of forestry girt (for the moment) hillsides. Local farmer pointed out sections being lost to Japanese Larch disease.Smudge08/12/2012
