Room for a couple of cars to the north where the Dales Way reaches the road. Take the bridleway to the second field on the left where a gate gives access to a path leading directly to the summit. Rough pastureland so no access issues. | moorsman | 21/09/2022 |
Parking for one vehicle in multi-gate grassy bay (SD452964). Up road, NW, to Dales Way FP, W along it to gate into 2nd field on L, then rough pasture to top | Isbjorn | 26/08/2022 |
From Dales Way. Over gate then grassy slopes south summit and back same way. | KeithByTheC | 13/06/2022 |
Up initial ROW path through narrow gap in the wall to the NE then gingerly over walls with barbies higher up. Slightly further west and easier on descent, but slightly confusing tracking rest again to pick up the lower three stiles.
This is the HuMP summit that commands the whole area. | vegibagger | 19/05/2022 |

3/4 Parked near Dales way footpath, just south of Borwick Hill, walked along to the cattle grid and accessed Borwick Hill from North West of the Cattle Grid for easy access, then through Borwick Fold to rejoin the DalesWay over to School Knott Tarn and up to Heathwaite Hill, backtracked all along Dales Way to Climb Crook Knott - use gate off the Dales Way enclosed trackway to gain access without having to cross any walls.
