Nice walk along Stanage Edge ascending from Hollin Bank car park, then along the edge to the summit and trig pillar at High Neb, the trig appearing uncannily out of the cloud. No views at this point due to low cloud and rain squalls, but the cloud did lift later on. Return via Stanage Pole. | praenterprise | 21/10/2022 |

Stanage High Neb. soloing on the grit and a run. A lovely winter's day. | Chris Pearson | 10/01/1988 |
Top with greatest reascent on 'Eastern Edges' walk from Flouch Inn to Baslow; the only Hump. After our lunch stop on Back Tor, the walk was excellent, on a gritstone escarpment with fascinating wind-carved tors such as 'the Salt Cellar. We went at least as far as Hurkling Stones before joining a path E to Moscar, a bit of A57, then glorious Stanage Edge. This is its highest point. With SJB and JEL. Full route, conditions etc described in Howden Edge log. | pwheeler | 14/06/1986 |
