Walked up from Grinshill village with K, track on E side then paths up to summit. A bit wet, so views limited, but made out Stiperstones.IanHHill21/02/2024
From the Corbet Wood CP, where we stayed in the camper overnight. Along track towards Clive until a metal barrier reached. From there it's a simple saunter to the summit. Great cliff-top views.summitter01/09/2023

From All Saints Church in Grinshill. Took a series of steep paths from the South and wished I had taken my walking poles. An easier descent West to Clive Church and a stroll back past the Animal Rescue Centre to the car.NormanW28/05/2022
Parked in the Corbet Wood car park and started on the main path to the N, but turned off too soon, taking zig-zagging tracks up the south side. Returned going N on the main track, joining the lower path past a couple of houses and back to the start.LizH27/05/2022
From Corbet Wood CP, interesting paths through the wood. Returned via the Bridleway to North. With CreakingHiker.tim74714/12/2021

*** Met LF at Prees Heath. 'Social distancing' in force so we drove in two cars to Grinshill and parked at layby at SJ529235. Walked up through Corbet Wood and its quarries to the carpark then back through the woodland. Didn't find the summit. Slight haze but bright with sunny intervals. A significant walk in sober times.Skip21/03/2020
From Corbett Wood CP then along track on north side of hill to corner and up path by Nature Reserve sign, then various paths to lovely summit area and great views. Popular hill - 3 groups of people on top on a Monday in February.Mark Sims03/02/2020

From the Corbet Wood car park, interesting place but not enough time to explore properly. Also unusual trig near summit, plus a topo.Aye Jimmy18/07/2017
With K, others waited in car. We struggled from car park through woods. Much easier to follow track that runs along N side of wood.Ashley09/07/2017
Last of three hills today. 1st was Haughmond hill, out and back from Shrewsbury then i took the 15.40 train to Yorton and took fp connecting with the B5416 and climbed Pim Hill looping around to Grinshill on some invisible footpaths. Took a bit of a circuitous route but eventually found a path to the top with Beacon, trig and toposcope. Fantastic views and nice crags too. Descent to Yorton for 19.50 train to Wem.Dazingdale30/04/2017

There is some parking up the un-tarmacked drive past the church at Grinshill. Nice hill with great views. Don't do what I did and try to go straight up from Grinshill - you will have to use hands a feet for this. Better to track around the back of the simon and co06/04/2010
