Got the train to Haddenham & Thame Parkway after work, then cycled to the hill. My first new top (and first country bike ride) since lockdown - great to be bagging hills again, with great weather and views too.Richard22/07/2020
3rd hill of day and 1st where actually sure stood on highest point. Parked on grass at entrance to Muswell Hill Farmhouse took footpath to Muswellhill Grange. Through gate 150m on right and across field to trig pillar and adjacent high point to the NW. Circuitous return towards SW corner of field which looked higher from trig but is clearly not when viewed in opposite direction. Back through gate and return to van.mntainman19/07/2020
Short leg stretch. Followed path from road. Trig easily spotted in adjacent field. On way back from Coventry with Geraldine.Pete West05/07/2020
Parked to SSW on grass verge by high point of road at SP 6404 1513 - Across road, along farm track for about 100m & then up through farm gate & across to summit & trig point. Wooden benches have seen better days! (S)gerrybowes27/05/2020

6th hill of 8 on a 36km traverse from Stone to Bicester climbing Burn Hill, Waddesdon Hill, Ashendon, Dorton and North Hill, continuing along the road descending and then ascending to take fp then heading direct for the top. I explored the high ground near the Trig point and then went over to near the transmission tower (just lower). I used the track to head back onto the lane past Piddington wood heading for Arncott...Dazingdale06/07/2019

With NS. Parked by the road high point at the track junction. Very quick bag. Strange weather : dry but a stiff southerly breeze, ridiculously warm for the time of year. Lovely viewpoint.Owen B14/10/2018
Repeat with Jenx and Bryher from same parking spotnordicstar12/09/2018
Must be one of the easiest HuMPs around. Didn't realise the woodwork in the undergrowth next to summit was a bench till I read the logs!Aye Jimmy25/08/2018
From Brill. Extensive views!twg2704/02/2018

The smallest of SSSI's measuring just 50m x 50m lies to west of the trig. This is a geological 'uncertainty' with 'problematic sandstones' not to mention sandy ironstones, of uncertain age and depositional circumstances. A specialist Cretaceous / Jurassic transition expert is sought to unravel this geological conundrum - any takers?Chris Pearson02/10/2016
With K. In dark. Easily found from footpath to SE. Bench has been put near trig which suggests access may be welcome. Stung my leg in dark!Ashley29/09/2016
Parked at Piddington Church and followed pleasant ROW (NB: wet ground in places) to near summit- just off ROWs but evidently no problem accessing it. Extensive views on a cool showery day, though the relatively low altitude means you can't pick out many distant hills. Back by quiet lanes. Brother, Pete, says by using paths to E you pass local butterfly reserves.pwheeler18/04/2016
Short walk from road, initially along FP. Gate into field with Trig, was open.PeterD31/03/2016
Lovely view, old wooden seats just off the PROW by the trig point.Swindon Bagger16/01/2016

The trig point is well sited in the middle of a grass field and near a path, but the ground near the road appears higher so I covered both. Part of a long bike ride from Haddenham station over 5 Tumps and returning to Haddenham for the journey back to Londontrimarc205/08/2015
Field of recently cut grass, highest point just NW of trig point, excellent views. Easy access via footpath from road.RichardM02/08/2015
9/10 Quick bag for penultimate one of day. Short walk from gate to trig pillar in centre of fieldFergalh07/03/2015

With DP from Cambridge doing all the Chiltern HuMPs in a day. A surprisingly pleasant hill with surprisingly pleasant views - we parked at 640151 and did triangle along both rights of way. Trig is in field full of horse jumps.Mark Jackson18/02/2012
