4th top of the day on an outing with Lesley and my mum from Nottingham. I visited Patchett's Cliff, Ash Holt and Sheffield's Hill before stopping for coffee and the Hope and Anchor in South Ferriby (looking across to Read's Island) after which we parked up on Saxby all Saints and then incorporated a visit to this top on a pleasant circular walk. I also walked into cereal crop to check if there wasn't a higher point and there didn't seem to be. I walked all the way around the fenced off reservoir too.
North Lincs now completed!

Parked next to track. Farmer on quad raced along road to inform me that there was no ROW and that he was expressly giving me permission to walk along the track. Whilst he was quite formal he was entirely polite as was I. Having given me permission he rode off into the distance to deal with his potato crop. Two minutes along the track and back. | Campbell Singer | 21/04/2016 |
